Tanja Brycker
Vice President at Hologic. Strategic Development International, Breast & Skeletal Health and Gynae Surgical Solutions
For too long, women’s health needs have been underprioritized, globally and nationally.
We still hear about women’s health issues being underdiagnosed and undertreated, about
underrepresentation in medical research, about ageism in preventive care and screening.
What is the current state of women’s health in the Nordic countries and how far have we
reached when it comes to gender equality in health?
Date: 15 June 2023, 10.00 – 13.00 including a networking luncheon after the event.
Location: Hotel At Six, Brunkebergstorg 6, Stockholm
Join us for a discussion with a panel of five Nordic speakers, all with their unique experiences
and competencies, on how to move women’s health higher up on the agenda.
To provide a basis for the discussion, we start by presenting the Hologic Global Women’s Health Index, a unique survey representing 2.7 billion of the world’s women and girls. The results reveal e.g., that more than 1.5 billion women worldwide lack essential health screenings and all 122 countries evaluated by the Index have significant room for improvement.
